[Lain looks away, off at nothing in particular, before speaking again] I'm...back.
I destroyed the false god. I restarted everything; I erased everyone's memories No one remembers me.
I brought the people back to life who had died because of me. I made them happy, but I have no one. I erased myself from existence.
