Gintoki on the other hand settles the communicator down, offering a clear view of the both of them. Once he feels the angle's right, he sits back in his seat, arms folded. Looks like he has something to say

[Katsura's using the voice function because he has been bandaged up quite a bit due to injuries sustained on his previous mission...except he forgot that he's already shown up for a while on the feed.]

Ah? I'm fine, Lucy-dono. We're just having a perfectly civilized shareholder dispute.

[At that, Katsura turns away from the communicator to give Gintoki a rather sour look.]

I didn't want to do that but I had no choice. Who knows how long you and Dante-san would have continued to bicker about names otherwise? Besides, I did knock on the door.

This? I got these injuries from my mission with Takasugi. That's what I wanted to discuss with you- missions, that is. [He sounds serious about this.]

Can't seem to look after yourself, can you?

Missions huh? I'm listening.

[Katsura doesn't bother to answer the question; as careful as he was, his injuries are a clear enough sign that he hasn't done enough. His expression turns melancholy as he speaks.]

Do you remember our first mission together, Gintoki? This mission I took with Takasugi...it wasn't like that at all. There were multiple kishin eggs and the city was already in ruins by the time we accepted the mission.

That's why I think we should go on more missions from now on. Perhaps the two-star missions too, along with Takasugi and Okita-san.

The two-star mission? You got one in mind already? [Can't even give yourself time to heal, damn it, Katsura. Still, Gintoki would likely do the same.... if he were a motivated man.]

Not yet. One of the previous missions was upgraded to a two-star mission; I think it's suspicious and I've read that the children there are being taken away.

[Katsura pauses to look at his hands. While not badly burnt, he's not going to be going anywhere for a while.] We'll still have time to think about it but I would prefer to go as soon as I've recovered.

[Mention of the kids gets his attention. He's weak to the young ones, okay?] Really now? Maybe we should go check it out when you're healed up.

You said anything to Takasugi yet?

[novelvision]

[While Katsura did know that would get Gintoki's attention, his purpose is two-fold: One, to rescue. Two, to investigate.]

Not yet. I think he may be a little shaken by what we saw during our mission to Lithuania even if he may not show it and Okita-san has yet to recover fully in any case.
