Vergil, here. [And recording from his apartment is said Meister and Zone Leader. The only things out of place in this particular scene is the sling hanging from his left shoulder and cradling his left arm, and perhaps a subtle trace of tiredness on his part. Mmn. All things considered, can't really afford to waste opportunities for positive events. [What with the war as it is, and all. Getting more and more serious. And dangerous.]

[How is he? Unbelievably stressed. Being so busy was problem enough, but then there's the new drama with Yuna. Ask the girl right before a major mission not to die - upset her with unpleasant memories, followed by her becoming hospitalized. Again. For a man with abandonment issues, that does raise major concerns.]

Shoulder should be back in working order in a couple of days. What about you? [Clearly the most important thing, here.]

[Not that he's overly proud of his remote familiarity of his brother, but...] It's a matter of paying attention to which words he does and doesn't say. He says enough to be painfully obvious, and easy to read. [But maybe it is a Sparda thing. Dante's an idiot, but they're two of a kind in some ways.]

I'm not exactly thrilled to see Yuna hospitalized. I don't have anything to feel guilty for, though - I voiced my concerns about going into that facility.

I'm vividly aware. [The very first person he'd formed any attachment to in Death City? Dead.] I'm also vividly aware that I can't always protect her, which puts me in an extremely compromising position. [Translation: 'compromising' reads as 'vulnerable'.]
