People come from across one another's timelines. Some people know things that others haven't yet experienced, and it's only a matter of time before the future gets revealed to those still living a life behind that point in time.
Assuming those memories aren't false, what am I if I know my future? People ahead of me in the timeline interact with the 'me' of the future, but I haven't lived that. There has to still be a 'me' in that time, so does that mean that 'I' as I am in Death City is just a snapshot in time dragged here but the 'me' on my world continues onwards to live the rest of my life out as the future has been told to me?
Is there any point for me wanting to go home when I'm clearly still living there based on everyone else's memories of me? I'm... just a single point in time dragged here, so I'm living two lives, one here and one on my original world. I doubt they can be mixed regardless of the memories people bring back with them. Why else would there be different versions of the same people remembering different things?
Is BREW really going to send us back to our original points in time? I will be stripped of my memories of living this life. If I go back knowing my future, I will alter every event because of my knowledge.
Maybe I'm not meant to go back.
