Well... I was able to transform today, during morning training. Since we're both currently partnerless, I was wondering if you'd like to be my Meister.

[She's actually... kind of nervous, and it shows. They'd be partners again, and it's something that would make her incredibly happy... she's still afraid the other girl is angry or upset with her, even after Madoka reassured her that first night in Death City. If she agreed to this, would it truly mean she was forgiven?]

... Really? [Oh, thank goodness. The relief, the sheer happiness is clear as crystal on Mami's face, and she makes no effort to hide it.]

My weapon form is a rifle! Like the ones I used back home. [Not even a mention of home can crush Mami's good mood right now! This is certainly a good sign.]

A crossbow? Did they not have a normal bow? I would think you'd be much more comfortable using that.

I see... well, a crossbow is a bit different from a rifle, but if there's any way I can help you learn how to use that as well, I'll be glad to offer my assistance.
