[Rufus has been watching the network. He saw Azusa's post and he's been eavesdropping where he can. Many people seem to be unhappy here, so he's going to try something and see what happens when he says something about censorship.]
I was in the library the other day, and I came across a book of quotes. There are many in there worth mentioning, but I thought I would share this one in particular with all of you.
[He shifts just slightly, leaning in a little closer to the camera. Now it's possible to see the back of the wooden kitchen chair he's sitting in and behind him, a rather lovely kitchen. It's an odd placement for the chair, since these apartments don't come with a table. It's also possible to see a hallway and --- is that a partially slip-covered couch? Yes, yes it is.]
If you are a small child, or if you own a small child, this is the moment to cover their ears. After all, we can't have them hearing things on the network they might hear adults say in public.
[Another pause, seemingly for dramatic effect, then:]
"Take away the right to say "fuck" and you take away the right to say 'fuck the government.'"
[He's fully aware that it sounds like hypocrisy to the people from his own world - it certainly sounds that way to him, after all - and that's what puts a small, amused smirk on his face.]
