This is going to sound stupid considering our priorities, but I haven't found any literature that definitively explains what I'm looking at, and it's been bothering me ever since I got here.
Just what is the sun? Or the moon, for that matter? The fact that both objects are capable of... making faces - seemingly showing emotion, even - implies that they're living beings, and while the notion is unnervingly fascinating, it's preposterous to imply in the same thread of thought that they're also celestial bodies.
Do you have any idea how massive those eyes and that mouth would have to be for that face to be visible here if it's still a star suspended in space, even in that form?
