Mmhm. Most meisters usually choose a type of weapon - like a knife, hammer, or scythe - and find a partner that they can resonate with, train to fight Kishin eggs and feed their weapon the necessary 99 Kishin egg souls and 1 witch soul. This will make them what's called a Death Scythe, a stronger form of the weapon that can be wielded by the Shinigami himself.

It's based on a partnership on both sides, an understanding that both meister and weapon are equal in the fight.

..Obviously you will need to learn how.
