[He seems slightly embarrassed by the compliment.] Thanks. [Then he blinks. A maid cafe? In Nevada? He thought those were primarily found in Japan or at anime conventions.] Oh, it's fine. [After clearing his throat slightly, Spencer glances away nervously, breaking eye contact.] You have questions?

[She raises her eyebrows in a pointed, 'is it really fine?' look.] Still, you should see the clinic.

[She pauses a moment to consider her questions, not sure where to even begin. After a moment she picks up her pen to jot down the information he's already given her]

You profile the person who did the crime, in the hopes of finding that person who fits that profile? [She asks it slowly, to make sure she understands]

What sorts of things go into a profile?

[He counters back with an "Of course it's fine; I'm a doctor" look that involves a steady stare and a raised eyebrow.] Sure. [But said in a way that means no, he probably won't.]

That's correct. [Nervously, he clears his throat.] There are a lot of things that go into the profile. We look at victomology, the geographical area of the crimes and the make up of people and the environment in that are, and if there are suspects we look at their histories and try to eliminate people based on factors we deduce. It requires a lot of knowledge about criminal behavior, facts, and statistics.

[She's adopting a pretty good imitation of a Mom look that says 'i'll be checking with the clinic later and if you haven't had your leg looked at I'm going to be very cross with you.'

She jots all of this down too, smiling lightly in a pleased little way]

It sounds hard. I suppose it's not a job for everyone?

[She pauses, then looks a little sheepish]

Oh. I haven't even introduced myself yet, have I. My name is Rei Kurosawa, I'm a Meister here with the ability Soul Sixth Sense. Currently I'm without a partner, but I'm being trained by Justin Law. I was also one of the Guests helping with the tour.

[Spencer knows that look. He knows that look really well. He also knows how to ignore it, so he just pretends to have agreed and answers her questions.]

No. It takes a lot of training and it can be pretty hard to stomach at times.

[She nods lightly, in a way that makes it seem like she can understand. And maybe she can, because when you see the traumatic crap Rei had to deal with every night, she thinks she might rather deal with what he does. She's no stranger to the dead, but at least in his world the dead didn't come back as vengeful, bloody ghosts. Or she didn't think they did, anyhow.
