[The first shot is definitely not meant to be seen by people; the communicator seems to have fallen onto the bed, amongst a few other things you would find in your pocket, and it seems to have turned on by accident. Souji is shirtless and looking in the mirror; he has a few cuts that seem to be neatly stitched together, and he's frowning a little as he checks one particularly long one near his hip that extends to his stomach. He's got a first aid kit with him as he treats these injuries; there are a few bruises that are fading, and he seems to be pleased with that.
It's when he goes to grab some tape off of the bed that he notices the light on. Thinking that it's pointing down at the bed, he just shuts it off.
After half an hour, it turns back on, showing him sitting on the couch in his apartment fully clothed, looking perfectly in place as usual.]
It's interesting. I've only been here for a few weeks, but now that I have more of a set routine, everything seems more familiar. Almost like a home away from home, in my case, at least. I can't say that for everyone. [Gives a small smile.] Though I'm not sure if there's a lot to be said for being able to perfect cooking bar food.
[He pauses, leaning back against the couch.] But being busy is nice. I'm enjoying it. I've also been helping Kurt get this battle musical thing ready. [Amused.] Building props is pretty fun. And practice in the mornings...always interesting. But with trying out different weapons, and talking to some people, I was wondering something. [Pauses. He can do this.]
I'd like to learn how to shoot a gun. If there's...anyone out there who's particularly good at it, I'd really like to learn how to handle one. I'm not sure how good at it I'll be, but I'd like to try.
[Now that that is out of the way...] How is everyone doing, by the way? Rapunzel, are you okay? Rise, how is everything at the restaurant? Ash, have you done any new drawings? [Smiles.] I almost want to ask everyone how their day was so far.
