[So yes, it has been a while since Date was up in the network, but he has a good reason for not being around. What with awkward situations, more awkward situations and even more awkward situations ever since his return here things have not exactly been ace for your resident Engrish-speaking Sengoku era warlord. But still, he's here trying to go on with life as normally as he can even if normal is the last thing his life is right now, even by the standards of being in Death City. tl;dr relationships are complicated]
Finally got out of the clinic a few days ago, and I'm just about all rested up and ready to get back into the action. [No, he's not going to say that his ribs are only half-healed at best; he's already wasted a good amount of time being immobile as it is.] It's been a while since I could manage to stretch myself out, and going back into the heat of the whole thing is definitely a nice change of pace from the stale air of the rooms I've been stuck in.
[Yeah, he sounds a litttttle huffy at that, but who wouldn't be huffy after having your communicator confiscated and then having to spend the next few days doing nothing but staring at random things. Though at least its over, so Date gets over it quickly as he continues on.] With all this time spent healing up, now I'm more than ready to rejoin the things I've missed. I'll be back at the training sessions and the Watch starting tomorrow, so don't worry - this dragon hasn't lost his touch at all.
