[What's immediately obvious when this broadcast begins is that Katsura is outside somewhere during the afternoon and that he's apparently staring at the shopping mall for some reason, if you're familiar with that area. He starts to speak into the communicator soon after.]Good afternoon, Death City. Tomorrow, many of you will have a chance to be ( Read more... )

People shouldn't dance while reaching for the finger foods, either!

Oh, but we do Halloween first before Christmas, right?

Ah, that's true! If they dance while they're eating, the food will fly out of their mouths...Spirit-dono, though your advice is sound, I now feel slightly disgusted.

I have always thought of America as the land of Christmas, so I am disappointed that this version of America does not celebrate it with the same enthusiasm that I'm used to watching on the TV.

It's like talking with their mouths full! It's a really horrid habit of children!

[blink] We put up decorations after Halloween! That's still nearly two months from Christmas. After all, why would you put decors for Christmas when Halloween goes first?

Then as adults, we must stand by and prevent them from talking until they're done with their food! We can't let them grow up to be vulgar adults who will be turned away from every party- should I buy some tape?

I thought people wore costumes for Halloween. Besides, the Christmas decorations can blend in with the Halloween decorations; that way, there's no hassle to set them up afterwards.

[blink] It's still October here, though. Was it almost December back in your world before you were brought here?

[Well, that is up to debate. Who knows with these episodes?]

It was close, but also not close. These American TV shows are misleading; I can't help but feel depressed to see the lack of elves and reindeer now.

You could... turn the TV on again once it's actually closer to Christmas, maybe?

That won't work; by that time, these Americans will be ushering in the New Year!

...What's Christmas?

It's a day of great joy, Toph-chan. That's why people begin shopping for presents as early as July.

Are you going to the party tomorrow?

What is it, Brainiac. The only big holiday coming up as far as I'm concerned is the winter solstice.

Yeah. I need to find someone to cover my shift, though.

It's not Brainaic, it's Katsura. On Christmas Day, Santa and his faithful reindeer visit everyone's houses to distribute gifts and it is customary to offer Santa milk and cookies in return. [Thinking...did he leave something out?] When is this winter solstice? Perhaps they're the same holiday and I should shop for more presents first.

It seems that a lot of Watch members will be at the party. The people on my shift have yet to respond, so I don't know if I'll be needed.

It's not the place, it's the situation. If I have to speak, I would like to get my point across as quickly as possible.

I could have made a list, but lists lack the emotion conveyed by a speech.

[Logic.] We're going on dates, so it's the same as Christmas.

[Ponders, well...he does have a point, but.]

But not everyone will have a date and people do not dress up for Christmas. Besides, Christmas is celebrated every year.

Why is it important that it to be Christmas..?

Re: [Video] novelvision January 3 2011, 16:12:21 UTC
That's a silly question. I enjoy Christmas, so Christmas is important.
