Ah, a holiday in some worlds. On the 31st of October, children dress as monsters or other mythical creatures, go door-to-door and collect candy.

It used to have more religious implications, but it's been rather dumbed-down for quite some time.

I see...strange. But you're hardly a child, so what importance should such a holiday have for you?

Well, if it's celebrated, I'll have to get candy to give the children, won't I?

You can have candy any day, though.

There's more reward in seeking it, though. I remember being satisfied with a heavy bag of candy at the end of the evening, even if I never ate it.

Ah, Sasuke is a strong boy.

But Ritsuka is gentle. He would never harm another person... to a fault, sadly. He would probably not defend himself if someone attacked him.

How foolish. That's your brother, then?

Foolish, perhaps. But he believes in avoiding violence.

He is. My dearest brother, Ritsuka...

I know someone like that. It's a miracle they're still alive.

People like that are greatly loved. And those who love them keep them safe.
