[You see D. If you don't know him, it might be kind of hard to tell if he's a man or a woman. Which is it? Try taking a guess... He's got the communicator propped up on the kitchen counter, and he's talking to it as he's baking... something. You can see him mixing ingredients together in a large bowl. He's wearing
this, in red with Chinese dragons surrounded by hearts on it over his
changshan. There is also a matching bandanna holding his hair out of his face. This probably doesn't do anything to help you figure out whether he's a guy or not. In fact, many of you might assume he's a girl.
D is very cheerful today, and you can tell by the smile on his face and the way he stirs whatever that mixture is. Don't look at it - it'll probably give you diabetes through the Demise.]
Hello, everyone! I see many new people have arrived. My name is Count D; please let me know if any of you need help. I have been here 7 weeks as of yesterday, so I may be of some assistance, though others have certainly been here longer.
[D pauses to set down the bowl and flex his fingers for a moment before he begins stirring again.]
I hear a lot of people talking about the party that's coming up. There is a lot to do to prepare for it! I myself could certainly use some new clothing before the event, and I have heard many of you expressing woe over not knowing what to do about your own clothing.
[He hesitates for just a split second, and seems a little unsure. Your character can pick up on it if they're of the especially perceptive variety. After a moment, D regains his composure and his confidence.]
Consider this an offering of my services, should anyone need help with shopping. I intend to go soon, and would love to have somebody to go with me! I imagine it would also be best to go and get my hair and nails done as well. Both are getting a little too long.
[He smiles cheerfully.]
Also, my offer for baking lessons are still open. I'll take either $20 Death Dollars a lesson, or half of what you bake, unless you have something better you can trade.
Finally, while we're discussing cheerful news, I was wondering if anybody would like to get together for tea. It has been far too long since I've had more than one person over for tea at a time. Would anybody care to get together within the next couple of weeks for a tea party?
I do believe that is all for now. Please let me know if you are interested in anything I have mentioned.
[And he turns it off so he can go back to giving himself cavities.]
