Yes, the witches. Myself and several others were their prisoners for a while. The witches seek to destroy Shibusen and spread chaos in this land -- that is why we fight them.

It very well may not. But, however, I have no doubts that you will be forced to defend yourself against Shibusen's enemies as long as you are identified as one of their guests. And even if you were not, perhaps they would do to you what they have done to myself and my companions.
