The search group is back safely.
We managed to follow the trail at least half a day before we were stopped, and attacked by sand constructs and kishin eggs and witches. We managed to drive them off before sand golems attacked us, with a man named Giriko. He seemed to be a Weapon working with the Witches, and he was able to summon those golems to fight for him. We were forced to retreat.
There was no sign of those kidnapped.
