Messy. Absolutely messy. Not just the surroundings, but this entire system as well. I've observed what transpired during the commotion, and I was not at all impressed.
I've noticed how simple the tactic employed by the authorities of this place is: People volunteer. Regardless of their combat experience and background prior to the arrival to this universe, they are accepted. The number of policemen is admirable, but not particularly outstanding. Hypothetically speaking, what happens if a different problem comes up -- say, a cunning, intellectually superior enemy arrives? There are problems where ramming a weapon against it is not an acceptable solution. Is everyone prepared for that sort of thing, or would they have to improvise? And what if improvisation doesn't work?
On a different, semi-related topic, I've also noticed how carefree the people are here. There are criminals because this system is allowing people to hide in the shadows. Therefore, I am proposing a database with information about everyone not from this world, since Death City is in desperate need of one. It should be mandatory and checked periodically. It might be invasive, but such a program would have more pros than cons.
[He will be less of an asshole in his next post, I promise. D:]
