[So the thing is, Dante and Date have officially partnered up now and Dante was moving his stuff into their new lodgings. While he was dragging his new and shiny jukebox over to there he got jumped by that sand kidnapper thing and during the brief scuffle the communicator is dropped and that is when it turns on

[See Chrome, the good thing about Date is that while he notices these things, he also has enough tact to not comment about them when needed.]

There've been several kidnappings across the city in recent days, both citizens and guests like us alike. So far it seems that the kidnappers are sand-based constructs like the one Dante and I took out earlier - I believe Shibusen has said it is most likely the work of Witches, but I'm not too clear on that bit. They're investigating into this, so I don't really know much besides what has been said.
