[Yukimura flinches at the reply, half surprised that the device had actually worked, and somebody was replying. And not just anybody either.

That voice! That unmistakable Engrish! Was it even possible?!

The only sound to escape his lips is an incomprehensible babble, which sounds more like ridiculous sobbing.]

M-M-M-M-MASAMUNE-DONOOOOOOOOOOO!! To think that you have also been brought here!! I, Yukimura, must express my relief!!

It is good to meet you, Yukimura-san. It is a strange way to communicate at first, but it can be handy. [He smiles- but it's brief, given that question.]

I do not think so. If anything it has gotten worse lately.

Y-yes, of course!! To be able to speak to another person while not face-to-face is an incredible, if not surreal feat for this one to experience!

[The feed flicks over to video, and a teenager with thick black brows, dark eyes, and a shiny bowl-cut appears on the mirror. He nods.]

People are being kidnapped from the city.

Radios, you say? My deepest apologies, but this Yukimura is unfamiliar with the term... Is it perhaps a device similar to this communicat--

[He stops mid-sentence and almost shrieks at seeing yet another person inside his communicator. He may have seen it a few times now, but damn, it's still surprising. But wow, he thought he had some funky eyebrows going...]

Kidnapped?! S-such injustice! Have the perpetrators been found?!

[HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THAT MOVING PICTURE ON THE COMMUNICATOR?! Out of sheer surprise, Yukimura drops the device with an awkward squawk and it clatters onto the floor.]

[He immediately goes to scoop it up off the floor, and stupidly lifts it high up above his head, inspecting the area in front of him to make sure the person on screen isn't somehow in front of him.

[There's a lot of incomprehensible noise coming from Yukimura, and it takes him a while to settle down. And by that, I mean, he's at least stopped shaking the thing around.]
