[His frown deepens into something maybe petulant.] Look, kid, we've been fighting this war for centuries. Don't think that we don't know suffering, either. You're worrying about those that have been left behind or being left behind yourself. I'm worried if my daughter will survive her next mission, but I have to let her walk into it with a smile. Our pains are different, and sure, maybe what I have is inherent to someone from this world, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating.
