Something like that, yeah. [ sigh ] But it's not like I know anyone else here, either. They're telling us to make a soul bond with somebody in a city full of strangers. Kind of awkward.

I don't want to wait forever to find a partner if I can help it. I feel useless enough as it is without magic. [ sympathetic smile ] The tour pretty much sucked, except for the ice cream.

I don't know why it does that. Maybe our powers from back home aren't compatible with this universe or... something. Like maybe the magic I use doesn't exist here. Magic is around for everyone back home, but I once went to another world where they were running out. I think maybe in this world, they've run out of magic except for whatever those witches use and whatever powers Weapon transformations and resonance.
