[ hopefully, like any sane person, you were not out training like this derp, and instead, you were sleeping. in any case, the sos was activated in the park- where you'll find signs of one serious struggle, along with his forehead protector- but naruto himself is nowhere to be found. ]

[then about fifteen minutes later, when he hasn't gotten the usual screaming response, he starts to get annoyed.]

[and about ten minutes after that, he leaves the house.]

[I hope you don't mind a Watch member looking into this. Genesis' shift actually falls in the wee hours of the morning, so he was able to pick up the S.O.S. signal and immediately get to the park, where it was activated.

So when Sasuke gets to the park-- he can choose to ask the red-coat man who seems to be looking quite cross over the scene of the crime.]

[Watch members always had to be quick to scene! or it was just second nature to be.]

[whatever it was, red coats, blue coats, they're all the same. but Hughes is lurking over the side of it, too: not touching anything, just crouched over one of the main bits of torn up ground. not looking near as cross as Genesis, but very subdued.]

[Sasuke wasn't far from the park, and knew his way there quicker than most for how often he frequented the place. so he was barely a few steps behind the Watch members when he got there.]

[Genesis turns when he hears the young man speak-- there was a reason for why he looked rather cross. He wasn't able to get here fast enough to catch the culprit.]

I don't think there is much doubt about it. There was a struggle, clearly. And there is no sign of him in the area. I've checked. If he was anything other than kidnapped, then he shouldn't have gotten far.

[But he isn't as perceptive as detectives were more likely to be, so he turns to Hughes.]

Yo. [of course he'd watched the kid's approach from the moment he caught sight of him, but - it was non-threatening enough, and everyone had heard the S.O.S. one hand scratching the back of his neck, he finally stood, keeping quiet until Genesis directed the question at him.]

Probably. He must have been taken out of the city, too. In under a few minutes--

[and he's about to say something else when the glint of metal catches his eye. his attention pulls from the two men and he crosses over, a small distance from the main area the scuffle took place- and pushes aside some dirt to pick up Naruto's forehead protector.

[Genesis watches for a moment before drawing a little closer]

It could be either given the amount of damage is here on the field. Although it could happen that it was more of the former.

... Really hurt, or on the verge of being knocked out. But there's no way they could have made it out of the city unnoticed-- especially if the kidnapper had to cart him out. There's no cars around, no dark alleys...

[but since none of them got here in time- it's worrisome, that they could have incapacitated him so quickly. his gaze turns, sharp, to the Watch members.]

It could might as well be, if there was no sign of where he was taken to. Not to mention that whoever took him was fast enough to whisk him away before any of us could get to here.

I wasn't very far when I received the signal. It was rather frustrating to see that I still wasn't able to come in time.
