[Minako is sat in her room at the communal. She appears to have gotten hold of a cooking book of some description and is flicking through the pages, pausing every now and again to make a mark on the page with a biro pen.]

I thought of this a few days ago, but I've only gotten around to mentioning it now...

Obviously, not everyone can do every kind of cooking but... you never know unless you try, right? Just suggest something and we can give it a go. No limits!

... unless you're wanting to do something really complicated a fancy. That could be difficult.

Aa... good, good. Would you make it into a class, for those who wish to learn?

Ahh... I'm not... really the best person to teach a cooking class. I'm still learning myself. I don't think I'd be very good.

I was thinking more along the lines of we cook for fun, and help each other out when we need it?

There may be a great number of simple eaters, in that case.

Not... so bad, aru?

Hopefully if we get enough people, a few of the good cooks might be willing to teach a bit? I can try until then, but I can't claim to be an outstanding cook or anything.

... Um. No. I'm not bad, I just don't think I'm amazing. I know far better cooks.

Then you could direct other beginners just fine. There will always be better cooks, aru.

Let's go with that. wildcardette October 18 2010, 23:58:50 UTC
... I can give it a go but I've not really taught people how to cook before. I helped Fuuka, but... she did most of the work herself. I just stopped her from putting the wrong ingredient in.

There seem to be a lot of people who wouldn't mind lessons though.

When following a recipe, one would think that is all that would have to be done. Makes it very simple, yes?

It has been seen before that many people here could not cook before hand, aru.

True. My friend was a little... well, she didn't always read the ingredients right, rather than the recipe. Then again, some people can cook without a recipe at all. I guess you just go with what's better for you?

It's funny what you can learn when forced into different situations. Eating out all the time would get expensive anyway.

And help those who need it, as much as you can. Yes. Did your friend need glasses?

Aa, the food court at the mall is free... It would simply be sickening, I believe. America's food, aaiya...

No. She tried hard but... she wasn't a natural cook. She did improve though! A little determination goes a long way.

... At least they offer free food, I guess? ... Is American food that bad?

She can cook somewhat, now?
