From my understanding their stuff is still in their room, which means they must still be in this world. When BREW sends people back, their stuff disappears along with them.

Which means they're either dead, or out there, somewhere.

Back when Asura came and our powers came back, Ed and I fell into the TV World. I can't make TVs appear out of nowhere like TV so we had to go running around to find one, and the one we found dumped us in some poor family's home in Australia. They went nuts when we came flying out their TV and they called the cops on us.
