7th Flight | Video
[ The video clicks on to show a smiling Ahiru - but the background behind her isn't her room in the casualty communal anymore. Instead, she's in a kitchen area of one of the Death City Heights' apartments.
She waves cheerily at the screen, still wearing her janitor's uniform from her new job. ]
Hi, everyone! I'm really glad to hear that the mission went well! And that the frogs are gone! I still think they could've been nice frogs underneath, but... Oh! There's a lot of new people around too, huh? My name's Ahiru! I'm a weapon!
And--!
[ She gestures excitedly around her. ]
Fakir and I moved into this place now that we're gonna be partners! It's a lot bigger! And there's a biiiiig window in my room! And lots of things we don't have back at home!
[ Stepping back from the device, she approaches the microwave. Sitting beside it is a plastic-wrapped bag of popcorn. Without even thinking, she takes the popcorn bag, plastic and all, and promptly puts it into the microwave and presses the green 'start' button. It immediately comes to life with the light inside and she dusts her hands approvingly. ]
There! That wasn't so hard!
[ She turns back to device, still grinning from ear to ear. The inside of the microwave has clouded up behind her, but she doesn't notice. ]
So how is everyone doing? I'm glad things have settled down a little now and I hope people are recovering okay and--
[ She cuts off as she hears a funny noise and turns around, gasping in shock of the smoke that's leaking out of the cracks in the microwave and the sparks popping inside. ]
QUA--! Oh NO! What did I do wrong?!
[ Her arms start flailing wildly in every direction as she approaches the smoking appliance and starts randomly pressing all kinds of buttons. ]
How do I stop it!? Ahhh!
[ ooc: Ahiru = household disaster waiting to happen. :D;; Needless to say, she has no idea how to use electronics or household appliances, as nothing even remotely similar exists in her world. ]
