You know, for those of you who haven't looked out the window yet, there are frogs everywhere. Yes, everywhere. And one of them just exploded.

DO YOU PEOPLE BELIEVE IN MAGIC NOW, HUH?!

Exactly! No one believed me about magic, but it's there! It's real!

They can't not believe now. THEY'RE RIGHT THERE! LOOK AT THEM!

And they're not beautiful, safe frogs either.

I think that one that exploded was trying to kill me...

Are you blind?! Have you not looked out the window?!

It's raining mutated frogs. Or someone could have entirely too much time on their hands and are throwing costumed frogs at us from a helicopter.

Do mutated frogs explode?! And how can you think that that makes more sense than magic?!

deadshallspeak July 11 2010, 05:39:39 UTC
I don't have to be convinced, but oversized frogs don't necessarily prove the existence of magic. Mutations are an alternate possibility.

nevergetscredit July 11 2010, 05:43:45 UTC
Mutations?! What is that?!

deadshallspeak July 11 2010, 06:09:20 UTC
Genetic alternations, sometimes leading to changes in outward characteristics. Magic is more likely an explanation, however. This war is fought against witches, and no amount of mutation could cause a frog to explode--not to mention the other things they've been doing.

I don't really know what you're talking about, but see magic makes more sense! And...wait. What else have they been doing?

You know how it is. People that don't believe will find any reason not to.

[voice] nevergetscredit July 11 2010, 06:30:53 UTC
But they're right there! You can't miss them!

[voice] fishnets July 12 2010, 04:23:49 UTC
Well, yeah, I know. But like I said, a skeptic will find any way they can to reason that what they're seeing isn't magic.

You know that by now, right?

I think this is quite possibly the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my entire life...

[This is Hades, playing bat-the-frog with a broom in his apartment.]

Do we really need to be discussing this? Like, right now?

[voice] nevergetscredit July 11 2010, 06:51:10 UTC
Well apparently people will jsut insist it doesn't exist when I try and have nice and rational discussions about...

...I think that one has two heads.

...look, kid. I admire--

[Excuse him while he picks up another one, flings it up and bats him out of the stadium in a puff of smoke.]

---your devotion to theological arguments. I really do.

[Another frog, another homerun.]

But this is really not the Chronos' forsaken time to do it!

I'm not making theological arguments! The frogs are right there and there is no way people can...oh no it's chasing me [run run run run]
