Homunculi in your version of our world appear to be very different from how they are in my version, because... well. I'll be frank: he looks exactly like Ling.

He comes from a much earlier time. Truth be told Ling also comes from a time before [how to word this] all the stuff with Greed happened but he's been filled in at least.
