It does, sometimes, appear to take people from different points in their universe's timeline. I've only experienced it twice, on a personal level.

Infrequent, but not unexpected.

It's not that unfortunate, considering some people come in after they've died, before they've died... before something shakes their foundation and changes them as a person. It can be... nice. Sometimes.

Sort of. I knew of him, fought alongside him once or twice, met him briefly... never really got to know him, though.

Where you go when you die, if you aren't resurrected or reborn. Well, I guess it depends. Hell's exactly as terrible as people may think it is.

Here or back where you come from? If it's here, I would just... give them time. And choose carefully what future events you reveal to them, if they're from the past.
