[ The communicator flicks on and Anders is reclining in the desk chair in front of it, doing his very best to look like he's comfortable in his surroundings. This is hilariously far from the truth, but there's something to be said for making a good show of it anyway. He's apparently not had time to go looking for new clothing, as his is still badly

...oh!
It is Anders! Time to figure out how to use this thing properly, now! ]

[ She's... shouting. It's impossible that he wouldn't be able to. And now she's pounding on the communicator, like one might pound on a door. That switches it to video.
Have fun looking at her fist hitting the communicator. ]

And... tries to be more rational about it. Oh look, there she is on the mirror screen. Have a quick wave! She's waving to herself but... also to Anders. ]
I... have no idea if I'm doing this correctly, Anders, but it's me! It's Hawke. I didn't realize you were here, too! It's almost like a party! Did you you know Fenris is here as well? When are you going to answer me? Is this even working?
[ She... hits it again. But only once! But that's enough to turn it off. ]

-Hawke?!

Anders leans forward like he's trying to get a better look at something far away. Hawke remains tiny but cheerful on his screen. ]
I can hear you, Hawke-- and see you, somehow. When did you get here? How did you get here? Are you alright?

He'll keep his annoyance to himself for the time being, though. ]

This is so interesting, Anders. I'm glad to see you here, even if it's sort of bad news that we got jerked here against our will and stripped of our magic. At least we're still... you know. Ourselves. [ Not Tranquil. Or locked up either.
Hawke nods as she continues. ] I'm perfectly fine. Just arrived yesterday, actually. What about you? Faring well so far?

Interesting isn't precisely the word I'd choose, but yes, I think I'm doing alright. We must have missed each other in the big arrival yesterday; from what I can gather, this BREW thing likes to drag in hapless sods in waves.
Where are you staying?

I wish I'd seen you sooner. Ah... I'm in a very large, very tall building? The eighth floor, if you can believe it, packed into a room smaller than Gamlen's old place. At least there's not four of us and a dog crammed in here... [ Yes... back when it was four of them and a dog. Mother, Carver, herself, and dear old uncle Gamlen. Despite their poverty, Hawke can't help thinking of them as the good old days. ]

But not their Keep, I'm not talking about their Keep. This is another of the buildings, it's like a barracks, sort of? A communal of... casualties? Sounds like a place of blood magic and raising the dead to me, but I don't believe it actually is.

-Wait, Casualty Commons? Is that your building? [ He sits up, alert. ]

Yes... except I believe I said "Communal", but close enough.

[ Not gonna ask where Fenris is not gonna ask where Fenris is. ]
Reply
[ Yep. Three of us. Same floor. ]

A happy coincidence, I'm sure. [ Though considering BREW's sense of humor/decorum/common decency, Anders would not be at ALL surprised to find it had been an intentional placement. ]
I'm in room H, should you find yourself in need of me - though I can't imagine what use a magic-less mage would be.
