Yeah, it's nice to have another band member, even if at the moment all we're doing is covers. I don't really write music, and I don't think anyone else here writes.

Yeah [He offers a weak smile] but it's still not the same as a song that your friends wrote, keeping everyone's strengths and skills and particular style in mind. Even if I didn't write it, it's still partly mine.

Hmm... [Raises a finger.] Maybe you need to recruit a songwriter as well, if that's how you feel about your music. They can write songs based on whatever ideas the band pitches.
