Finding a place to wash and dry everything is fairly difficult; everything's so closely packed. My usual spot was taken, but it still needed to be done.

I agree that this city is rather congested. It's hard to find a place where one can just sit and drink in peace without having to hear someone screaming or yelling about something or other.
