Having never seen a magic trick or a cheater before in my entire life, I am positively astounded.

Y'know, that was almost a compliment. Ain't a cheater, I'll tell ya that.

No one would admit to being a cheater, would they?

But then what 'bout the people who aren't cheaters... do we assume they are?

We ask for proof.

From who? The cheater?

From the people who claim not to be cheaters?

But how do we prove they aren't or they are?

As a card player, surely you can think of ways. Opening a fresh deck of cards, for instance, rather than starting with one that you might or might not have stacked in your favor.

...Y'know that can only do so much. It's easy to stack any deck in your favor.

Well I've never worried 'bout cheaters. That's why I got my gun.

As much as I dislike cheating, I really don't think it warrants a bullet as punishment.

[betterrockets]

Hey, I don't shoot. It's just there for show.

Do you think it would discourage cheaters if it really was there merely for show? Enforcing rules means that there's always the looming threat of punishment for breaking them.

[betterrockets]

Jus' cause I know it's for show don't mean that they do too.
