[ The feed opens to a moving view of some pillows, a flash of spotty fur, and then there’s a sleep-ruffled Rhode smiling at the camera, draped on top of something large- her partner- and tugging the blanket up to cover more of herself and Mukuro as she starts talking quietly. ]
Merry Christmas, everyone. I’m sure you’ve all got nice presents, mm~?
[ Propping her chin up on her hand, still looking far too pleased with herself. ]
But I’ve certainly got the best present of them all~
[A chuckle from Mukuro’s end.]
Come now, my dear, I’m sure some of the others received wonderful things.
[ Turning over to give him a little pout. ]
I doubt their partners gave them new apartments. They should all be quite jealous.
[Another laugh and a rueful shake of his head. Oh and he’s ruffling your hair a bit too.]
Well, the cat is out of the bag: Rhode Kamelot and I have moved. Our friends are highly encouraged to find out where. In fact... [Glancing at his partner.] Should we invite people over for a party sometime soon?
[ Oh! She looks absolutely shocked at the suggestion, but then she’s practically scrambling up to give him a hug, dropping the communicator next to the kitten sitting beside them on the bed and making a squealing noise of delight. ]
Yes! Yes, that would be splendid! They’ll all be able to fit in here, now, and we can entertain them properly!
Excellent. How about... hmm. What would a good date be?

[A thoughtful hum, mostly for show, then a nod.]
Yes, that might be best. Maybe there will be fireworks to watch.
Fireworks? Like a festival?
[ Lighting up at the thought, sitting back to look up at him with big eyes. ]
And we can watch them out of the windows now! And we can have all kinds of things to eat and drink, and then we can wait until it’s midnight so we’ll all be up for the new year! And then...
[ Trailing off; She doesn’t really know what they do after midnight. She’s always been sent to bed... or fallen asleep on her own. To that, Mukuro only chuckles. ]
I am sure we can figure out the rest when we get there. So, how about it? [Turning back to the screen.] A New Year’s Eve party for friends and lovers, over at this new apartment. RSVP, and all that.

[ That might be a little roll of her eyes, but she’s leaning in to nuzzle up against her partner anyways, arms wrapped around his neck. ]
I don’t care what anyone says. You’re the best partner.
[Leaning in to kiss her nose.]
