Video--Dec. 25th--Morning
[The video pings on and shows all the wonderful snowfall that Death City has gotten in the last day or so. The camera slowly moves to now show a certain, grumpy cyborg with his hands stuffed in his pockets. He’s looking away from the camera at the moment and the owner of the camera giggles quietly.]
It is a quiet Christmas and the unsuspecting Jet is wandering the streets..what is on his mind...He must certainly need some Christmas cheer.
[Setting down the camera on something nearby. Orihime comes into view now, all bundled up and giving a big smile while holding up a “v” sign with her fingers. She quietly squats in the snow, making a snowball before standing up again and flinging it right at the back of Jet’s head.]
SUPER ULTRA SURPRISE SNOWBALL ATTACK!
[Not really expecting the sudden attack, it hits Jet square in the back of the head, covering his usually gravity-defying hair in snow.]
Hey! What the hell was that for? You tryin’ to get me all wet?
[Because he is, wet and cold, and not at all feeling ‘in the spirit’. Orihime grins, not saying anything at first as she disappears from the camera for a moment to get a small, brightly colored wrapped gift from behind the camera and hiding it behind her back. She skips over to him now.]
Oh Jet-san you’re so silly. It’s about the thrill of the battle! But now you can claim the prize! Merry Christmas Jet-san...
[Orihime holds out the gift to him as Jet brushes the snow out of his now damp hair. He looks over at the gift, a bit hesitant.]
...What is it?
You have to open it to find out silly!
[He looked the gift over, almost as if it would bite him, but slowly undid the wrapping anyway.]
A... book?
[Not what he was expecting, but he’s not displeased, either.]
Yuppp! It’s called The Count of Monte Cristo! I was exploring the book store when I saw it and I thought of you! I read it already and it’s so exciting! Full of adventure and action! Books are always so nice to get because they really take you to other places without you moving anywhere!
[He nodded, a faint smile crossing his face. NOPE-Not blushing, looking away.]
Yeah, they do. ...Thanks. I, uh, actually got something for you too...
[He walks past her to a bag hidden behind the camera and returns with a very crudely wrapped...lump]
It’s nothing big, but I thought you’d like it, I guess.
[Orihime smiles back, feeling quite proud of herself. At the mention of her getting a gift as well, Orihime claps her hands.]
Oh you got me a gift too Jet-san??
[She admire the wrapped lump like it is a nice piece of art work...to which she ruins as she tears it open to reveal a stuffed lion. Orihime lets of a squeal as she hugs the doll to her chest.]
Another animal to add to my collection of Death City stuffed animals...that I will start! Thank you Jet-san, thank you very much.
[She smiles warmly now, hugging him tightly. After a moment she pulls away, turning back to the camera when she realizes she left it on.]
Oh ho ho! Silly comm, I forgot I left you on. I also got gifts for others too! I’ll be sure to drop them by later today~~.
[Jet froze at the sudden hug, not entirely certain how to react, but he was saved when he noticed the device was on and switched to ‘indignant-mode’.]
That thing was on the whole time?!
Jesus....whatever, I’ve got other things to do.
[And with that, he turns to march away, arms crossed and face a bright shade of red. Orihime blinks a few times, looking back at the camera and runs over to it, picking it up and then running after him as she shuts it off.]
