[If you’ve been in the Watch office during the past couple of weeks, you might have noticed a girl with ancient Chinese style clothes and an abacus. Today, she has her hair tied into the usual loops and is dressed in simple pink and yellow robes; the wide sleeves have been tied back with a strip of white fabric since she’s working in her kitchen at the moment. If you look closely at the background, there’s a huge bowl of red bean paste, a few large slabs of pork, a big pile of shrimp, a stack of bamboo steamers, and a massive lump of white dough that’s a couple of feet tall.]
Good morning. Welcome back to those who were away in Europe. I’ve been working in the office for about two weeks but I don’t believe I’ve met everyone yet. My name is Shuurei and I’m the evening clerk. [bows] You can come to me if you need any reports written up.
I used to cook a lot back home and now that everyone is back in the city, I thought it would be nice to treat everybody to steamed buns. [She holds up a steamer with several buns inside. And from all the ingredients in her kitchen, it looks like she’s literally making enough for everyone on the Watch!] I’m making two kinds to bring to the office later today. Please come by before or after your shifts to have some! [smiles]

[Normally, Shuurei would have just gone next door and knocked but she thought Ryuuren might have gone out. She's not that used to technology so she hopes she got the setting right. She’s still in the kitchen but the angle has changed a bit and there’s an odd bit of foliage visible to one edge of the screen. Strangely, it looks a bit like the top of a pineapple…]
Ryuuren, could I ask for a favor? I have a lot of cooking to do and it would help if I could use your stove.
