Video; Dec 23rd; mid-afternoon
[Lain's sitting at the kitchen table, knees pulled up to her chest and a mug of hot chocolate in hand] It got even colder...
I've never seen snow before, I think. It's really pretty though. It's making everything look like something out of a storybook. I read about stuff you can do though. Like snowball fights, or building snowmen and making snow angels. [She pauses to drink her hot chocolate, looking like she's nervously trying to not get her hopes up] Do you think I can do those things? That there'll be enough snow, or people to do it with...?
[But there's a sudden shift and Bold slams the hot chocolate down with an exclamation of joy, not noticing or caring that some of the drink has splashed over the side of the mug] I've got it! [There's a squeal of delight and she takes off.
A couple minutes later she's back, a little snowball in hand and a mischievous smile in place. She winks at the camera] Oh, Neji~!
[She slips off-screen again. There's the sound of a struggle, a dull 'thump' and a yelp, followed by silence. Then a louder thumping noise and Bold stomps back on screen, shivering. There's bits of snow still melting in her hair, and a mildly disgusted look on her face mixed with fury. The glare she gives the video is enough to kill]
I hate ninjas! I don't care if I want to be one, I'm hating all ninja the rest of the time this snow crap is sticking around! Or at least Neji! Neji! [She turns her head to yell off screen] We're not friends anymore! Friendship is over! [And back to the video] I need revenge ideas. Now.
[Lain takes back over with a deep sigh of much suffering and she shakes her hair a little] ... [She opens her mouth, but can't think of anything to say to get this video back on track with what she originally wanted. So with another deep sigh she turns the communicator off to go get a towel and change her shirt]
