I've been researching this Christmas festival and I would like to ask a question to anyone familiar with it. I recently read about the event it is commemorating. While I understand why this birth would be considered unique...

It apparently is to this festival. I do not know if it has any other importance.

A child that was intended to be a savior was born only by a miraculous power and his mother. It seems holy creatures even revered him, though I'm confused about the other details. There were two versions that did not match up.

One mentioned holy creatures and farmers witnessing it, another said there was an evil king who sent a group of scholars that did not reveal what they learned.

Both versions say her husband was there, but he was not his father. Otherwise they are not consistent.

Unless each failed to mention the other, no. But if that's the case, it makes the entire story suspicious.

One was by someone called Luke, the other writer was named Matthew. [Ironically enough.]
