I had some surprisingly nice tea while dealing with some fools the other day. I decided to open up a tea shop instead of an antique shop. That makes more sense to me, anyway. I see no reason why I should share any of the treasures that I should acquire in this world. They are, after all, meant for my viewing and no one else's ( Read more... )

[She debates on responding for a while... then debates over how to actually physically respond... and then finally:]

What sort of positions do you need filled in this shop?

[and you are planning to pay them, right? =__= if you don't care who works there she's rather leery over whether or not you'll care enough to PAY them.]

What sort of food do you want served? I can cook, but what I am familiar with is only Edo-mae style Japanese. I am willing to learn whatever is necessary, but anything else will be a process of trial and error.

Actually, that sounds better than what I had planned. Just cook that.

[RELIEF. IT WOULD BE PALPABLE if she wasn't such an ice queen :|]

Very well.

What hours do you need and what is the wage you are offering?

What hours do you want?

I suppose... for the time being twelve dollars plus whatever tips anyone wishes to give you would be fine.

Acceptable.

[Very... acceptable... actually... Sir, you have made her week.]

From what I understand anywhere between 30 and 40 hours weekly is standard here. What do you plan the hours of operation to be?

[Hisahide pays his minions well, 'cause he might have to ask them to die for him. Hurr hurr... but that's neither here nor there.]

Early morning tea is hardly enjoyable. Too much rush through the cafes that I have seen and would rather not see that in my tea shop. Shall we go with the noon hours til late at night. It allows for more quiet reflection.

[Hahaha... :| good luck with that. She's died once already and it was quiet enough.]

[Hn... she would prefer to be home safely before dark, but this will leave her mornings free, so...]

How late do you plan? I am fully available during daylight hours and am agreeable to early evenings. If that is acceptable I need only to know where the shop is located and when you would like for me to start, though I will need a day at least to familiarize myself with the kitchen. I imagine the the appliances differ from those in Casualty Communal.

Early evenings are fine. I will stay open until late into the night, anyway. I plan to enjoy the moonlight with my tea. Others can join me if they like. I may even turn off the lights so that I can enjoy the moonlight with my tea.

That is fine. I have yet to officially open the shop, anyway.

I see.

My name is Himura Tomoe, by the way. With whom am I speaking, and should I wait to hear from you further where the grand opening is concerned or shall I check back with you myself?

Matsunaga Hisahide.

I shall mention the grand opening in a few weeks. You can come and familiarize yourself with the kitchen in that time. Whenever you wish. I feel no reason to monitor my workers. It's not trust, but an understanding that work will be done or not. So long as I have tea and my food while I am there, I care little about what is done.

Very well.

Where is the shop located?

[A few weeks should be enough time to ensure she doesn't burn anything down... GOD TECHNOLOGY, WHYYYYY???]

No need to thank me.

And if you break it, you buy it. As the saying goes.
