[Rufus's face looks tense, perhaps even a little grim, but it's somehow more relaxed than it's been in awhile. To those who know him well, he's seems to look rather happy (or at least content) - and isn't that odd, coming on the heels of Asch's post?]
It looks like things are getting intense, so perhaps this is a bad time to ask what foods are typical for a large Christmas dinner - not that I'll let it stop me today. I've seen what the books say, but it seems like something that would be better to hear from people who actually celebrate it.

[All of these people should have found an invitation slipped under their door requesting their presence at a Christmas dinner/birthday party for Asch and Luke starting at 4:00pm... at the Fatality Condos.]
Doubtless you've all stubbled across the invitations by now or soon will. I'm sure many of you have things to do on Christmas Day, so if you need to turn it down, that's fine - or you're more than welcome to stop by in the evening for cake.
Luke thinks that this is a surprise for Asch and Asch thinks this is a surprise for Luke. I'd appreciate it if the surprise remained a surprise for them both. [He pauses and his eyes narrow slightly.] I'd hate to have to make anybody's lives miserable for awhile. [Because he's not 100% sure how Asch will react to the news and less time he has to spend in the doghouse on a mission, the better.]
The address listed is our new address - I trust you not to give it out to anybody. [Guess who's moving tomorrow? There's a silent 'or else' implied there.]

Asch and I have been debating this for the past several hours; we've decided to volunteer for the mission. We'll be heading to Switzerland to lend a hand. Hopefully, we'll be back before Christmas. If not, you'll get your presents when we return and we'll push the gathering back to New Year's Eve.

Tomorrow we're planning to move to Fatality Condominiums. They're a quite a bit larger than the apartments at Murder Manor and much more comfortable to have multiple people over at once. Luke and Elena will be moving in with us; Reno, Tseng, you're more than welcome to join us there if you wish or to stay there with Luke and Elena while we're gone. There's a hot tub and some other nice things, though...

Asch and I are calling off work tomorrow to move and unpack a little and get some of the shopping done for the party.
