I have a few questions. Though my associates have been more than helpful, I was curious over a few matters. The first...how do you find your other half? Your Meister or your Weapon? Do you know when you encounter them or do you simply make it work?

My first partner, I found by attempting resonance with a young friend of mine. It worked well, so we decided to partner. Zack Fair is my partner now, though.

There are a couple ways to work on a partnership. You can find someone you naturally resonate well with and work on your relationship, or you can partner with someone you work well with and improve resonance with time. If you can find both right away, then you're really lucky.

I'm not sure I resonate well with anyone...or if I work well with anyone but a select few. [Difficult old man is difficult.]

Well, you could always talk to Roy Mustang. He keeps a list of unpartnered individuals in the Watch. I think there's meetings during training to help people find partners, too.

This business of finding your Weapon or your Meister is even worse than finding someone to marry. [Like he'd had great success at that. Like any of them had.]

I'll be sure to look into the matchmaking service. Does it come complete with a meddling mother in law? [Because Rufus's partnership now does.]
