Hello everyone.
As I'm sure most of you know, there is a festival in the late planning stages for the winter holidays. And like all festivals it is bound to be pretty lively. As such, Roy has put me in charge of setting up security for the event. I heavily doubt there will be any issues, of course, but...

Anyway. This will be a completely voluntary duty, but I encourage anyone who can spare the time to come and help out.
[He smiles lightly]
Though I'm leaning slightly more to accepting volunteers from adults and those without family, especially anyone who wants more then one shift- let the kids and parents enjoy themselves for a little bit if they can. Of course I'm not about to turn any one away due to age if they really want to work.
The shifts will divided into three- morning, afternoon and evening. Due to the increase in drinking during the evening I'll be assigning our more physical patrolmen and women to the evening shift. Other then that there will be a few small patrols as well as at least two people assigned to each contest or event. The patrolmen's duties will also cover being available if anyone running booths or attractions needs an extra pair of hands.
I'll be attaching a map of the grounds, and I heavily suggest everyone look it over even if you don't plan on volunteering, just in case of emergency. Our duties are no different just because we may have a day off, after all.

This is a more personal request from myself to all of you: while I know I haven't had the opportunity to prove myself as even an organizer, let alone as someone capable of leadership, I ask that any problems during this event be brought to myself, not Roy.
It's not very often he gets to spend time with his family, and I know many of us would like to see him have the chance to relax. So unless it's an emergency concerning the City as a whole- well, all I can do is ask.
