[The video feed clicks on to purple eyes that are unnervingly close. There's a slight and thoughtful noise, then the eyes pull away to reveal a young face, topped with a mess of dark hair and cat-like ears that flick idly.]

Hmm.

[The boy settles back into his comforter. He's sprawled out on his stomach on a fairly wide bed and dressed in PJs. His clothes may make him look young, but his serious eyes and wary face call attention to his maturity. He tilts his head up to watch the communicator. ]

Hey. My name is Ritsuka Aoyagi. And I'm a Meister, apparently. Nice to meet you all. [He bows his head slightly in greeting and then gets to the point.] I have two-- well, three questions. First and second, what's the minimum age for part-time employment here? And where can I find information on who's hiring?

[A pause and then he holds up this camera, a 2002 Sony Cyber-shot.] Um, lastly, can I find digicams here? I... don't have my charger anymore and I need to get a new one.
