I... I can't find Brother anywhere. I'm worried. What if something happened to him in this city?

I... I have to find him.

Has anyone seen a short man with long blonde hair? It's usually in a ponytail or tied in a braid. Um, he'll probably have white gloves on and a brown coat.

I'm sorry to hear that, Al...maybe he just got caught up with the slew of recent arrivals? In any case I'll keep an eye out.

Mm! Thank you, Rhyme! I hope he's ok. He's very strong and can fight if he needs to, but... I just wish I knew where he was.

Not a problem! Anything else you can tell me about what he looks like? You said his name was Edward, right?

Yup! Um, let's see... He's always wearing these brownish clothes. The coat is long, has a hood, and underneath he wears a brown vest. And, I don't think you'd be able to tell, since he always has them covered, but his arm and leg are auto-mail.

Hmm. Got all the other stuff, but you sorta lost me on automail. What's that?

Oh, I guess they don't have it in your world.

Well, sometimes, when people lose their limbs they can get replacements. Auto-mail is mechanical limbs that people can have attached to replace the ones they lost. Brother's right arm and left leg are automail made by our friend Winry.

Does that make sense?

Oh! Yea, that makes perfect sense. We have something sorta like it, but it doesn't sound as advanced.

So it actually functions like a real arm and leg? He can move it around, and stuff?

Yup! And his mechanic, our friend Winry, is really good at making them too. Brother's got some of the best auto-mail out there!

It moves a lot like a regular arm and leg because the wires are attached to each individual nerve strand. But sometimes you have to get maintenance on them. And they can even be fragile, if you don't take care. Brother always forgets to oil his, so I have to remind him.

That's pretty amazing! Sounds like a really difficult and respectable trade. Seems like your world is very different then mine, I'd like to learn more about it, if you ever have time to tell!

Sure! Amestris is really interesting and there are a lot of nice people. There's been trouble off and on, though... I was actually on my way to another word before I was brought here.
