Funny Call
While i was at work i was giving average effort into the calls. I had, acold, ashma problems, and my voice kept on giving out so i just stopped caring. I started talking to people as if they were my toilet seat. Then a latino lady from New York called. Well, she sounded latino. She was calling for this trampoline thing that we sell. For some reason her soft, polite, caring voice made me want to be 'extra' nice to her. The whole time she didnt really ask questions and said 'ok' to everything i told her about. She was as robotic as i was. So, when she was giving me her card numbers, she said all 16 digits in a row, instead of me repeating the numbers after every four. when i repeated the whole number back to her, she noticed that I made mistake in the beginnig and she told me about my mistake when i was half way through reading her card numbers back to her. For example, i was like "1221.1331.1231," then she interupts "21!" i pause and im like "twooooooo one after the" and she interupts "instead of 12".... there is a silence and then we interupt each other at the same time... we bust out laughing on the phone cause it was hilarious. we understood the simple breakdown in communication and it was funny. usually i gain control back but we laughed our way through the rest of the call. Then we said our "goodbyes" and never spoke again.
