Most days training took several hours, after the morning training which was also a few hours on its own. Each day such as this left poor Clare exhausted, she took a few hours to rest before she went to work for the evening. Most days didn't have quite as many early movies, so she was good usually. If not tea and determination got her through running the booth while licking her wounds.
Today training ended earlier yet she felt worse than any day of training previous. On top of the usual sore limbs and aching bruises... she felt like her rib cage was nearing collapse. It HURT, a lot. A part of her blamed Selendis, but she mostly blamed herself. If she learned faster she'd have either hit Selendis before her strike, ending the training then and there... or blocked properly. Proper blocking meaning not catching an arm with her ribcage, that was the point of blocking, to AVOID THIS.
So the girl dragged herself into the clinic, Clare did her best to cover her pain in front of her teacher but she doubted its success. Given the lesson ending early and all. Still Selendis defended Clare's pride letting her be stubborn and drag herself to the clinic (a choice Clare regretted shortly after she left). Clare's expression was tired and pained, with just a bit of anger at her condition. Hopefully it isn't too bad... but it feels worse.

He heard the tinkling of the small bell he'd hung on the doorknob, and peered out from the room he'd been in to look at the door. There was a weary-looking girl standing there. "You seem to be in a good amount of pain, young lady," he remarked as he put the case away and walked out to greet her. If she was capable of standing up, then it must not be that terrible, but Watson could never particularly tell with these stubborn warriors. "What can I do for you?"

"Yes, I am," Clare said, a bit of a mumble to her words because, well, the pain was rather obvious. Clare kept and arm around her abs where she got hit, putting pressure on her injury. Not sure if that was helping, or merely comforting to do something. "I didn't exactly block something during my training, and someone overestimated my durability. So we figured I should make sure I'm not too injured."
Clare wanted to make this as quick and clinical (...not an intended pun) as possible, not dawdle and waste time. "I suppose you're the doctor here?"
