[Despite the fact that Phoenix should really be resting in bed with his new injuries and all, the man is here once more. Eating wurst and whatever that's on the menu.

IT'S BEEN TOO LONG TROLLFACE.

[She sees you there Phoenix. Have a unimpressed looking teenager leaning over and stealing some of your breakfast. She has a bone to pick with you - and it's not just the fact you're where you shouldn't be.]

This isn't the clinic, Wright-san.

OH REALLY NOW.

The food here is much more delectable.

[Innocent face on.]

You're supposed to be resting. You're injured.

[She sits herself down opposite him, munching on the stolen wurst.]

[He's just doing it out of bed. And taking free breakfast for himself while at it.]

[Minako wrinkles her nose slightly, before grabbing a plate and setting the food onto it. She leans her cheek on a propped up hand, before just coming out and saying it.]

Why didn't you tell Edgeworth-san about our temporary partnership?

[Is rather pleasantly munching at his food - to his credit he doesn't even pause when Minako brings up her question, going on to munch at his potatoes as if nothing happened at all.]

I never found an opportunity to tell him. [And it is pretty much the truth; Phoenix never found a time or place to say it properly.]

[Slightly skeptical expression goes here.]

But it's been quite a while. You've really hadn't found the right time?

[Totally honest expression that Phoenix can manage while his mouth is full of food.]

Mmn-hmn.

[Minako spears the wurst with a fork and nibbles a little more.]

Mm, well. He knows now. It came up in conversation. He didn't seem very bothered though, I don't think.

[Probably because she flailed around explaining all the reasons why Phoenix asked her.]

[Ah, so he knows now. Well, Phoenix can deal with that, after just about everything else...

Gulps down his food, taking a drink of water to clear his throat after that before he makes a shrug.] He works with other Weapons quite often, so I suppose he expected it one way or another.

[A reminder, again, of just how weak he himself is. He's supposed to protect Edgeworth as much as he can, but yet again and again he's hindered by nobody by himself. It's incredibly frustrating, in more ways than one.]

I guess there's something to be said for variety. Learn to deal with other people, you grow yourself.

[She reaches out and grabs a glass and a jug of orange juice, which she pours.]

[A small wry smile.] I suppose that's true.

[She sips the juice.]

That means you should be growing as well. Dealing with different meisters gives you adaptability... or at least, that's what I think.
