[In the past, Sohki would have sought out Count D for such a battle, but that was no longer an option. He was a Meister now, and he resisted the natural reaction to find his once partner, and instead made his way to where the only being he trusted within the city dwelled.

He'd made his way all the way up to the door he'd required, and knocked without hesitation. The knocking gesture, however, sounded calm against the door.]

[China was preparing in the best way he knew how: collecting up his medical supplies, his bandages and painkillers (modern or not), placing them all into easily carried boxes.]

[when the knock came, he almost didn't answer. but then a glance at the clock and the progress he had left (not much)...]

[he pulled open the door thirty seconds after, blinking in mild confusion at the sight.] -- Sohki?

[Sohki didn't have to wait long before China was opening the door.

Seeing the confusion within the country's soul, the kirin smiled pleasantly.]

While I have no interest in regards to the population as a whole, there are some here to who I've recognised as interesting.

[Taking a moment to collect his thoughts, Sohki's oddly pensive. Of course, China's definitely one of the select few Sohki wants to protect.]

Yet I know well that I cannot protect them without a Weapon companion, and there is no other I would wish to resonate with outside of yourself, China.
