[A job, a weapon, money, access to a bike. It all sounded well and good, but as all things in life, there was always a catch.]

[Okay, so that's not a direct answer to his question, but Lady's never had to deal with any serious structure. The main constant in her life no longer exists, and since then she's been on her own completely.]

Then this might be difficult for you. We do have "officers" in place, after all, and everyone is expected to take orders when the situation calls for it.

[She mulls this over for a moment, her brows furrowed.]

You're saying emergency situations? Outside of those, I'm on my own for patrols so long as I show up?

[Her main concern here is having some asshole breathing down her neck every time she turns a corner. She won't deal with that.]

Yes. If your Zone Leader calls on you to do something, however, you're expected to respond.

[She's silent for a long moment as she thinks that over. She doesn't like it, and it shows, but she can understand too. This group really would be ragtag without some organization, and it is quite a bit bigger than she'd imagined.]

So long as they don't try to send me on some suicide mission, I guess I can handle that. But I'm not about to let anyone screw with me.
