There's plenty of music. [She's sitting in her apartment, sitting sideways, legs over the arms of the chair. Reading something. And oh, this is blasting in the background.]
It's real punk music. The good stuff. You just have to look to find what you want -- like, I found Scott 4 at the mall. I fully intend to go back and get it.
Get one. With a record or CD player attached. Because seriously, nothing good's ever on the radio.
I mostly have grown out of the punk scene, but some of the music's still good. These days I thrive on proto-punk and folk and the like, particularly Talking Heads. Anything but dance music, really. That stuff's horrible.
Sound quality. In addition, some albums have never seen a re-release on CD. I know plenty of Scott Walker and Jonathan Richman (with or without the Modern Lovers) have never been released again.
Got some cassettes back home, too. Mostly old demos.
There are so many things wrong with that statement. Aside from the fact that I've been a fan of the bands I listen to since I was... oh, about your age? If not a little younger.
It also relies on "it makes me look cool," which implies you think I look cool. And kinda defeats the purpose of saying it, right? C'mon, kiddo. Try harder if you're going to insult a middle-aged woman.
