I've been thinking. It seems silly to continue on with no weapon. Is there anyone out there who would like to try resonating with me?

[Then there's a slight pause.]

Ah, I nearly forgot! I have a job now. I'll be taking care of the plants in the park for now, so please feel free to come say hello if you see me there!

Indeed they do - at least, they do if you want to keep them from overtaking an area. And in this heat and dry environment some of the plants need extra special care just to stay alive.

Wait... Wait. What? Overtake an area?

Plants grow. Well, at least the ones native to this area grow.

Deserts are not good environments for thriving, green plants. They require a lot of clean, moist soil, food, and water.

[D will happily educate him about plants.]

[ score! ]

And here there's a lot of sand. But there's rain!

Hardly ever, really. That storm was likely just a fluke. If not, we wouldn't be surrounded by hot, dry sand - we'd be surrounded by the luscious, green grass that covers the rest of this continent.

So there are other parts to this world?

Many other parts. This is a world made of many countries and peoples.

Do you not know what a country is?

Nope!

Hmm...

[There's a brief moment of silence as D tries to think of the best explanation.]

A country is an area of land that is marked by borders and has it's own government, people, language, and customs.
